Who is Ekologicall?

Ekologicall is a small business and a one woman show.

My name is Valerie, and I am the owner and founder of Ekologicall. Born and raised in France, I have been living in Charlotte, NC since 2012. I am married, the mom of 2 wonderful children and we adore our sweet labrador, Rocky :)

I grew up in the countryside of Normandy. My grandparents were farmers, and I spent all of my free time with them. They were just kids when WWII happened and one of the precious things they taught me was that "Nothing should go to waste", it stuck with me.

After a career in Human Resources in France and in the United States, my passion for the environment and my desire to make a positive impact prevailed and I launched Ekologicall in 2019. 

I am convinced that education and simple changes can have a big impact on our environment, our health and our happiness. Ekologicall offers sustainable alternatives, safe for us and for our environment. I want to inspire our community to reduce waste, switch to a mindful consumption and live healthier, while protecting our sublime planet. Each person encouraged to rethink his or her consumption habits is a big win. 

The products you will find at Ekologicall are easy swaps you can make. They are carefully selected to replace most of the disposable products we use daily. Our vendors share the same vision for sustainability and fair labor.
