A note about the pod film
Dropps pods are wrapped in a water-soluble film made from polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH), a synthetic polymer. According to Dropps, the film dissolves in the wash and is designed to biodegrade under suitable conditions, including in wastewater treatment.
