No more slimy greens at the bottom of your fridge.

You bring home kale, herbs and salad full of good intentions. A few days later they’re wilted in a plastic bag and headed for the trash, along with the money you spent on them.

Vejibag changes that. Its damp organic cotton creates the cool, humid, breathable space vegetables need, so they stay crisp for up to two weeks. No plastic bags, no paper towels, no guessing.

Why you’ll love it
• Crisp salads and fresh herbs, days after market day
• Only undyed organic cotton touches your food, no plastic
• Replaces the plastic-bag-and-paper-towel routine for good
• Machine washable, lasts for years with care, compostable at the end

It pays for itself. Save one bunch of greens or herbs from the trash each week, and your Vejibag covers its cost in about two months. Then it keeps going for years. Food shouldn’t go to waste.

Made with care
• 100% organic cotton French terry, undyed grown on sustainable farms in Texas

    Frequently asked questions

How do I use my Vejibag?

Wet the bag and wring it out so it’s damp, not dripping. Rinse your veggies, trim any damaged bits, shake off the extra water, and put them in. Fold the top over and store it in the main part of your fridge, or in a crisper drawer left slightly open.

What can I put in my Vejibag?

Most veggies you’d keep in the fridge: leafy greens, herbs, carrots and other roots, peppers, zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, broccoli. Cut veggies and apple slices work too. Skip berries, tomatoes and mushrooms, which prefer to stay dry.

What if the bag dries out?

Every few days, mist it with a spray bottle, or run it briefly under the tap with the veggies inside. Keeping it damp is the goal.

How do I wash my Vejibag?

Turn it inside out and machine wash with fragrance-free detergent. Wash it between uses. Machine dry or dry it in the sun. It may shrink about 10%, but it stretches back once wet. For stains, soak it in hot water and oxygen brightener before washing.

My veggies still went bad. What’s wrong?

Usually the fridge is too warm. Veggies keep best just above freezing, below 39°F, and many fridges run warmer than people think. A thermometer will tell you. Also make sure the bag stays damp.
